William P. Chrisanthis

October 14, 1928 - July 18, 2010

William "Billy" Peter Chrisanthis, 81, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 18, 2010 at the Veterans Victory House. Mr. Chrisanthis was born in Charleston, SC on Sunday, October 14, 1928, the son of Pindaros Pete Chrisanthopoulos and Nitsa Jenny Bachliotou Chrisanthopoulos. He was a graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1950 and of the University of South Carolina, School of Law. Mr. Chrisanthis honorably served in the U.S. Army and was a self employed Attorney. Mr. Chrisanthis is survived by his daughter, Iris E. Foster and her husband Phillip; his son, Troy Chrisanthis; two grandsons, Gabriel Foster and Gregory Foster; his sister, Anna Coutlakis and her husband Gus and a brother, Tony Chrisanthis. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 23, 2010 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. No other public service is to be scheduled.
