Life Legacy
James R. O'Neill, Sr. , husband of Kitty Frey O'Neill, of Charleston, SC, passed away at his home on the evening of July 15, 2010. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. James R. O'Neill, Sr. are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 PM, Monday, July 19, 2010, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be Private
Mr. O'Neill was born in Charleston, a son of Aloysius Moultrie and Almena Riley O'Neill. He was a graduate of Bishop England High School and the Citadel. Mr. O'Neill honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a former credit manager and insurance agent.
Mr. O'Neill is survived by his wife, Kitty F. O'Neill; his children, Katherine O. Smith and her husband, Rick, Angela B. O'Neill, James R. O'Neill, Jr., G. Brian O'Neill and Stephen R. O'Neill; his sister, Mary E. O'Neill, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren
and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Aloysius M. O'Neill, Jr. and John W. O'Neill.
