James A. McAlister, Inc. - Funeral Home

	James A McAlister, III - President James A. McAlister is owner and operator of the James A. McAlister Funeral Home. He is a fourth generation funeral director and has worked in this profession for more than fifteen years.
	Benjamin H. McAlister, Apprentice Funeral Director Benjamin H. McAlister is also a fourth generation of his family to serve Charlestonians in times of personal loss. He was born and raised in West Ashley. Ben knows this growing community well, and he's committed to the many families whose lives are centered here.
	Carol Buchanan Carol Buchanan is our Administrative Assistant, and has worked in the funeral profession in Charleston since 1976. She assists the families we serve with help on where to go and what to do after the funeral. Her experience has taught her to be a good listener and she keeps in touch with our families to see how they are doing.
	Marc T. Kanapaux, Funeral Director Marc T. Kanapaux is the second generation of his family to serve his community in funeral service. He is a member of Pi Sigma Eta, Theta Chapter, the National Honors Fraternity of Morticians. Marc has been with James A. McAlister Funeral Home from the beginning and as of January, 2001, joined the staff on a full time basis. He brings with him a lifetime of experiance and complete dedication to families in need.
